Municipal Tax was imposed in 2008. We had decided to collect the tax with transparency. We have reduced the tax amount from 5000 to 50 rupees. Our implemented tax system work for 9 days and we collected more than 60 millions.\"\"<\/p>\n

I appeared in court several times for the perusal of MUCT Case. Court acknowledged our version and decided on merit. We are thankful to Honourable Sindh High Court. We will present this resolution to Council and get it approved.\"\"<\/p>\n

After this historical judgement, we will collect more than 4 billion rupees in next fiscal year. We will generate revenue from our resources and will not cry for powers. We want to utilise our efforts for the people of Karachi positively. People have ruined this institutions and blamed for power always. We are also thankful to Sindh Government who approved Hub Canal Project. This project will supply more than 200 million gallon water to Karachi City per day. Specially residents of District South, West and Central will get the water which is basic and fundamental requirement. This project will cost 12 Billion rupees. This project will be completed by August 2025.
