He stated that VDS represents a significant step towards realizing the digital governance vision of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif and shared that the system will soon be formally inaugurated by the Chief Minister. He further remarked that the pace and scale of these initiatives reflect the Local Government Department’s commitment to reform and innovation, adding that such progress has rarely been witnessed in the sector, even by Development Authorities.The Secretary LG&CDD appreciated the efforts of Ms. Ume Laila Naqvi, Additional Director General PSPA \/ Project Director PMU-LG&CDD, and the PMU team in developing this pioneering initiative.
