A distinguished delegation from the Asian Development Bank (ADB), led by *Mr. Jaemin Nam* (Sector Project Administration Unit Head / Mission Leader, SD2-WUD) along with mission members *Mr. Malik Najaf Khan* (Project Officer, SD2-WUD) and *Mr. Ahmed Hasan Malik* (Associate Project Officer, PRM), visit to the Punjab Local Government Academy (PLGA), Lahore, constructed under the Punjab Intermediate Cities Improvement Investment Program (PICIIP).The delegation was warmly received by *Mr. Mirza Salman Usman* (Deputy Program Director, PICIIP), *Mr. Muhammad Tahir Sheikh* (Chief Engineer, PICIIP), *Mr. Haider Javed* (Director Infrastructure), and Mr. *Muhammad Qausain* (Assistant Director Engineer), briefed the ADB delegation on PLGA’s modern construction, infrastructure, and operational readiness.
📌 Key Highlights of the Visit & Project:
• State-of-the-Art Infrastructure: Built on a 10-kanal land parcel with a total covered area of 213,878 sq. ft., this multi-storey facility sets a new benchmark for local governance and capacity building.• Project Progress: Physical progress has reached with major civil, HVAC, electrical, solar PV systems, and MEP works successfully completed.• Modern Facilities: The complex features modern academic classrooms, seminar halls, IT labs, a 300-capacity screening hall, student hostels, executive suites, and an integrated SCADA/BMS control room.The ADB delegation commended the dedication of PICIIP and the execution team in delivering a landmark facility that will significantly strengthen local governance across Punjab.
