Chairman P&D Board, Barrister Nabeel Ahmad Awan, held an important meeting with the Chairperson of the CM Punjab Taskforce, Mr. Adnan Chatha, to review the progress of the "Empowering Rural Women Through IT Training” project.
The meeting was attended by Secretary P&D Board Dr. Asif Tufail, Secretary Skill Development Mr. Nadir Chatha, Chief Economist Mr. Masood Anwar, CEO PSDF Mr. Ahmed Khan, and other relevant stakeholders.
It was informed during the meeting that the first training class will commence next week, while the selection process for the remaining candidates will begin soon.
Chairman P&D Board, Barrister Nabeel Ahmad Awan, stated that this initiative is important as it aims to equip rural women with advanced IT skills through hands-on training, paving the way for their empowerment and digital inclusion. Therefore, he emphasized that merit and transparency must be ensured at all stages of the project.
