The 81st meeting of the Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) was held under the Chairmanship of Dr. Naeem Rauf, Chairman Planning & Development Board, Punjab• PDWP approved position papers of 21 development schemes across technology, ICT, infrastructure, social welfare, livestock, vocational training, and road development sectors• Major technology and innovation initiatives approved, including Innovate Punjab Leaders of the Frontier Tech Incubators and Punjab Frontier Tech Skills Acceleration & ICT for Girls Project• Infrastructure schemes approved, including construction of Administrative and Studio Complex Lahore and Civic Infrastructure & Allied Works Lahore• Social welfare initiative approved for provision of wheelchairs, prosthetics, hearing aids, and other assistive devices to persons with disabilities• Livestock sector schemes approved, including CM Punjab Livestock Card Phase-II and CM Punjab Empowering Rural Women through Livestock Support• Vocational and technical training projects approved, including Scale up of Training۔Infrastructure-PVTC, Work Based Trainings-PVTC, Punjab Cleaning & Care Academy-PVTC, and European Qualifications Framework alignment across civil, mechanical, electrical, vocational, and multi-technology streams• Road infrastructure schemes approved for Bhakkar, Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Chakwal, including rehabilitation, widening, carpeting, and reconstruction of key road sections• Secretary P&D Board Rafaqat Ali, Chief Economist P&D Board Dr. Farrukh Naveed, Members P&D Board, and concerned officers from different departments participated in the meeting• The approved schemes reflect the Government of Punjab’s commitment to digital innovation, inclusive development, women empowerment, skills enhancement, improved mobility, and sustainable economic progress across the province
