A delegation from UNICEF Pakistan visited the Planning & Development Board Punjab and held a productive meeting with Chairman P&D Board Dr. Naeem Rauf.During the meeting, both sides engaged in meaningful discussions on ongoing and future collaborations, particularly focusing on key initiatives such as SUCCESS and WASH.
The dialogue also emphasized enhancing cooperation in data collection and adopting a sectoral approach to development planning.Furthermore, the two sides discussed joint efforts in critical development areas including child protection, health 🏥, education, nutrition, and water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH). Discussions also touched upon the Punjab Growth Strategy and the importance of monitoring and evaluating development programs.Chairman P&D Board Dr. Naeem Rauf appreciated the strong and longstanding partnership between the P&D Board and UNICEF. He stated that this collaboration reflects a shared commitment to improving the lives of vulnerable communities across Punjab.Chief Economist Mr Masood Anwar, Additional Secretary (A) P&DB Mr Zaheer Anwar Jappa, Chief Field Officer UNICEF Ms Sabahat Ambreen, Social Policy Specialist UNICEF Mr Nouman Ghani , Assistant Chief ECA Mr Saleem Ilyas were also present.
