Secretary P&D Board, Mr. Rafaqat Ali, presided over a meeting to review Pre-PDWP proposals for development initiatives in the aquaculture sector.
Major proposals discussed included:✅ Establishment of the First Shrimp Estate with value chain development at Shah Garh and Rakh Ali Wali, Muzaffargarh✅ Feasibility Study for Large-Scale Shrimp Farming✅ Expansion of Aquaculture and Shrimp Farming in Punjab.These initiatives aim to tap into Punjab’s aquaculture potential, create livelihood opportunities, and promote sustainable seafood production. 🐠🍤🦐DG Fisheries Mr Saleem Afzal, Sr Chief Environment & Climate Change Ms Nadia Shafiq, Sr Chief Consultancy Ms Shafaq Saleem and others concerned participated.
