A wrap-up meeting with the World Bank’s Implementation Support Mission for the Punjab Family Planning Program (PFPP) was held under the chairmanship of Member (Health), Planning & Development Board Punjab, Mr. Shafaat Ali., while he mission was led by Dr. Jahanzeb Sohail, Senior Health Economist and Task Team Lead, World Bank.In the meeting implementation progress of the Punjab Family Planning Program was reviewed.
Developments made toward achieving the project’s development objectives were also accessed.During the session, Chair reviewed progress on actions agreed during the previous mission, discussed key implementation challenges, and identified possible solutions to address bottlenecks in program execution. The discussion also focused on strengthening coordination among stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of family planning services across Punjab.Officials from the Finance Department, Health & Population Department, and the Punjab Family Planning Program (PFPP) participated in the meeting and reaffirmed their commitment to accelerating progress and improving health outcomes in the province.
