Chairman Planning & Development Board, Dr. Naeem Rauf, reviewed the progress of the Punjab Climate Observatory being established in the Green Building of the Environment & Climate Change Department. During the briefing, the Chairman was apprised of the ongoing developments and key milestones of the initiative aimed at strengthening climate monitoring, research, and evidence-based policymaking in Punjab.
The Chairman emphasized the importance of modern climate data systems to support informed decision-making and enhance the province’s capacity to respond to climate challenges.
