Minister Local Government & Community Development, Mr. Zeeshan Rafique, Visits P&D Board to Review the Development Schemes and Projects
Minister for Local Government & Community Development (LG&CD), Mr. Zeeshan Rafique, paid an official visit to the Planning & Development (P&D) Board and co-chaired a high-level meeting with the Chairman P&D Board, Barrister Nabeel Ahmad Awan, to assess the progress of development schemes and foreign-funded projects of the Local Government Department.
The meeting was attended by key officers, including Secretary P&D Board Dr. Asif Tufail, Secretary LG&CD Mr. Shakeel Ahmad, Member LG/UD Mr. Khawar Kamal, Senior Chief ECA Ms. Saba Asghar, Senior Chief Coordination Mr. Sohail Rauf, Deputy Secretary Mr. Omar Liaquat Randhawa, and other senior officers.
The Chair conducted a thorough review of ongoing projects, identifying bottlenecks and formulating strategies to ensure smooth implementation. Emphasizing the importance of transparency and merit, the Chair urged all stakeholders to expedite the execution of development projects for timely completion.
