The Planning & Development Board, in collaboration with the Environment Protection & Climate Change Department (EP&CCD), organized a capacity-building session for government officers, highlighting the Chief Minister Punjab Green Credit Program the country’s first citizen-focused environmental initiative.Secretary P&D Board, Mr. Rafaqat Ali, welcomed participants and emphasized the program as a flagship step to incentivize eco-friendly actions , reward citizens , and promote public participation in climate action.

The representatives of the project highlighted its remarkable success in Lahore .The program is now being expanded across Punjab, empowering citizens to earn Green Credits through sustainable practices and strengthening the province’s climate resilience 🌏.The session also featured a review of Punjab’s public sector carbon market projects 📊, focusing on their potential to generate carbon credits 💠 and upcoming timelines for registration in international markets 🌐.👥 Participants included:
