The Government of Punjab, led by the P&D Board in collaboration with UNICEF Pakistan, has unveiled a 10-year roadmap to ensure safe, equitable, and climate-adaptive Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH) services across the province.The plan tackles climate risks such as floods, heatwaves, groundwater depletion, and water contamination through innovative reforms including:✅ Climate-smart infrastructure & solar-powered water supply✅ Rainwater harvesting, wastewater reuse & groundwater recharge✅ AI-based early warning & digital accountability systems✅ Youth & women-led awareness under Punjab Suthra Programme✅ A new Punjab Climate Resilient WASH Fund to attract climate finance💧 Investment pathways:Universal Coverage: Rs. 8.85 trillion

Strategic Coverage: Rs. 3.02 trillion.The first district-level model plan has been launched in Muzaffargarh, supported by WHH Germany & AGAHE.
