The 25th meeting of the Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP), chaired by 𝐃𝐫. 𝐍𝐚𝐞𝐞𝐦 𝐑𝐚𝐮𝐟, 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐏&𝐃 𝐁𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐏𝐮𝐧𝐣𝐚𝐛, gave the go-ahead to six development schemes aimed at boosting wildlife, road infrastructure, correctional facilities, and urban rehabilitation.

✅ Approved Schemes:1️⃣ Safari Zoo Lahore (Phase-II) – Rs. 6963m for world-class wildlife & eco-tourism facilities 🦁2️⃣ Feasibility Study Rahwali–Dharmkot Interchange Road, Gujranwala (PC-II) – Rs. 30m to ease connectivity 🚗3️⃣ Expressway Feasibility Study (M3/M4 to Layyah & Bhakkar) – Rs. 39m to open up Southwestern Punjab 📊4️⃣ Correctional Facilities Revamping (RP) – Rs. 1623m for modern prison infrastructure 🏛️5️⃣ Correctional Facilities Revamping (NRP) – Rs. 2400m for rehabilitation-focused reforms6️⃣ Urban Rehabilitation Project, Walled City Lahore – Rs. 644m to preserve heritage & improve infrastructure 🏘️The meeting was attended by Secretary P&D Board Mr. Rafaqat Ali, Secretary Forest Mr. Muddassir Riaz, Chief Economist Mr. Masood Anwar, and senior officers.
