The 34th meeting of the Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP), chaired by Chairman P&D Board Dr. Naeem Rauf, approved 09 development schemes amounting to Rs. 28 billion in the Women Development, Urban Development & Public Buildings sectors.
✅ Initiatives include:Establishment of PERA Enforcement Stations across Punjab (Rs. 9,057m & Rs. 7,019m).Skill Enhancement through Home Reach (SEHR) Program (Rs. 975m).Road infrastructure projects in Lahore:• Kamahan–Lidhar Road Improvement (Rs. 900m)• Dualization of Barki Road (Rs. 3,088m)• Kammas Road Widening (Rs. 865m).Green Corridor along Shahdara–Raiwind railway track (Rs. 1,771m).Ring Forestation of Lahore (Rs. 4,196m).Establishment of the Strategic Planning & Implementation Unit (SPIU) (Position Paper for Posts)The meeting was attended by Secretary P&D Board, Mr. Rafaqat Ali, Chief Economist, Mr. Masood Anwar, Members P&D, and other senior officers.
