A training session on the Updated Smog Mitigation Project Tracking (SMPT) Dashboard for departmental smog mitigation activities (2025–26) was successfully held today under the chairmanship of the Senior Chief (Environment), Planning & Development Board.The session aimed to familiarize departmental focal persons with the enhanced features of the SMTP dashboard, designed to ensure more efficient monitoring, and effective coordination of smog mitigation measures across departments including HUD&PHE, Agriculture, Transport, LG&CD, Industries, Forestry, Energy, Environment Protection, C&W, School Education, Commissioner Office, PHA, PERA, PITB, Punjab Safe City Authority & TEPA
Participants were briefed on the new functionalities introduced in the 2025–26 update, emphasizing on performance-based progress tracking.The Senior Chief (Environment), P&D Board, Ms Nadia Shafiq appreciated the active participation of all departments and encouraged continued collaboration to ensure timely implementation of smog control initiatives for a cleaner and healthier Punjab. 🌿
