A meeting was held at the Planning & Development Board, Punjab to discuss the proposed restructuring of the Punjab Rural Sustainable Water Supply and Sanitation Project (PRSWSSP).The Secretary P&D Board, Mr. Rafaqat Ali chaired the meeting and Mr. Gailius Draugelis, Country Operations Manager represented World Bank.
The meeting focused on improving project effectiveness, enhancing coordination among relevant departments, and ensuring sustainable water supply and sanitation services in rural areas of Punjab.Officials from the Local Government and Community Development Department, Finance Department, and P&D Board attended the meeting and shared their input on the proposed restructuring to further strengthen rural service delivery and project outcomes.The meeting reflected the continued collaboration between the Government of Punjab and the World Bank to advance sustainable rural development and improve access to essential water and sanitation services.
