Sindh Health Minister Dr. Azra Pechuho inaugurated the anti-polio campaign by administering two drops of polio vaccine to children. The campaign will span 30 districts across Sindh from September 9 to September 15.
The event was attended by Sindh’s Health Secretary Rehan Baloch, CEO of Essa Lab Dr. Farhan Essa, EOC Sindh Coordinator Irshad Ali Sodhar, Director health services Dr Saqib, PD EPI Dr. Muhammad Naeem, TFP NEOC Dr Altaf Bosan and EOC Core Team, among other officials.
The initiative aims to immunize approximately 4.9 million children across the province and nearly 70,000 frontline workers have been mobilized to ensure that every child receives the life-saving polio drops.
