Secretary P&D Board, Dr. Asif Tufail, chaired the Project Steering Committee meeting of the Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS).
DG BOS, Mr. Sajid Rasul, provided a comprehensive briefing on the progress of MICS7, highlighting its key role in supporting 36 SDG indicators. The focus was on the advanced data collection process using CAPI (Computer-Assisted Personal Interviewing) and the approval of survey results.
Secretary Dr. Asif Tufail emphasized the importance of this survey in strengthening evidence-based policymaking, urging all stakeholders to ensure timely completion and data accuracy for better planning and progress.
