Secretary P&D Board Dr Asif Tufail Chaired the meeting.
The Chair thoroughly examined several projects, including:
1️⃣ DREAMS-II, Phase-I: Enhancing resilient environments and advancing municipal services in Sargodha and DG Khan under Project Readiness Financing (PRF) for the Punjab Urban Development Project.
2️⃣ Wastewater Treatment Revitalization: Revitalizing 400 wastewater treatment ponds through bioremediation across Punjab.
3️⃣ Smog Mitigation: Aiming to make Lahore climate-resilient by developing green areas to combat smog.
4️⃣ Child Healthcare Expansion: Expanding child healthcare facilities in southern Punjab and enhancing pediatric sub-specialties at CH&ICH Multan.
5️⃣ Rehabilitation Engineering Center: Establishing a center to advance rehabilitation aid services in Pakistan through a bilateral grant.
💡 The Chair approved the concept papers for all these projects, paving the way for further progress and submission to the Cabinet.
