A training on Gender Responsive Municipal Service Delivery was organized on June 27-28, 2024, at the Punjab Local Government Academy in Lalamusa. Officers from the LG&CD Department attended the session. Shakeel Ahmad Mian, Secretary LG&CDD, graced the event as chief guest and addressed the participants, emphasizing the importance of such training and its impact on enhancing staff’s ability to be gender-responsive in their professional duties. Mahmood Masood Tamana, GM ID, PMDFC, also attended and discussed the objectives and benefits of the training.

Experienced resource persons conducted the training, and participants appreciated the learning experience. This training was part of a GIZ-funded initiative aimed at building the capacity of local governments in Sheikhupura, Lahore, Jehlum, and Toba Tek Singh.
