میئر کراچی بیرسٹر مرتضیٰ وہاب کی زیر صدارت کے ایم سی کے انجینئرنگ ڈیپارٹمنٹ کی پیش رفت کا جائزہ لینے کے لیے اجلاس ہوا۔ میئر کراچی نے متعلقہ محکمے کی پیش رفت پر برہمی کا اظہار کیا۔ "میں سوشل میڈیا پر لوگوں کی طرف سے اٹھائے گئے مسائل کو روزانہ کی بنیاد پر مانیٹر کرتا ہوں، اور اب وہ ہم سے نتائج کی توقع کر رہے ہیں۔ لوگ KMC کی طرف سے فراہم کردہ کام کو قبول کر رہے ہیں۔ سندھ حکومت نے اس مالی سال کے لیے کافی بجٹ فراہم کیا ہے۔ مجھے کام کی ضرورت ہے، کام، اور مزید کام میں کوئی غفلت نہیں دیکھنا چاہتا، اگر کوئی کام کرنے میں ناکام رہا تو میں براہ راست مداخلت کروں گا۔ ہم ڈیجیٹلائزیشن کے دور میں رہ رہے ہیں، اور مجھے شیڈول سے پہلے منصوبوں کی تکمیل کی ضرورت ہے،” میئر نے مزید کہا۔ ڈائریکٹر جنرل ٹیکنیکل سروسز نے اپنی پیش رفت کے بارے میں بتایا اور حکومت سندھ کی جانب سے مختص فنڈز کی تفصیلات فراہم کیں۔ میئر کراچی نے محکمہ کو ہدایت کی کہ افتتاح کے موقع پر منصوبے کی تکمیل کے ٹائم فریم کی تفصیلات فراہم کی جائیں۔ اجلاس میں میونسپل کمشنر ایس ایم افضل زیدی، پی اے ایس، سمیرا حسن، میئر کراچی کے سینئر ڈائریکٹر اظہر شاہ، ڈی جی ٹیکنیکل سروسز نایاب سعید، کے ایم سی کے مالیاتی مشیر اور دیگر نے شرکت کی۔

We are living in the era of digitalization, and I need the completion of projects ahead of schedule,” the Mayor added. The Director General of Technical Services briefed about his progress and provided details of the funds allocated by the Sindh government. The Mayor of Karachi directed the department to provide details of the completion time frame for the project during the inauguration.S.
