The Planning & Development Board Punjab convened a review meeting of the Program Steering Committee (PSC) for the Punjab Intermediate Cities Improvement Investment Program (PICIIP) and Project Readiness Financing (PRF).
Chaired by Secretary P&D Board, Mr. Rafaqat Ali, the meeting assessed the status of urban development activities, municipal service improvements, and preparatory steps required under PRF.Officials from provincial departments, district administrations, Waste Management Companies, WASAs, and Municipal Committees presented updates from their respective cities, highlighting progress and operational needs.The Secretary stressed the importance of timely execution, stronger municipal coordination, and ensuring that urban interventions translate into better public service delivery.
