Sikh pilgrims return to India after celebrating Gurpurab

Lahore ( Ali imran chatha)After celebrating the birth anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak, Indian Sikh pilgrims returned to India with beautiful memories of the Guru’s land. They will always remember the hospitality of Pakistan government. Talking at the Wagah Border, the party leader of the Shiromani Guru Dwara Parbandhak Committee, Sardar Gurmeet Singh, said that we are very grateful to the federal government and the ETP Trust Board administration, Pakistan is a minority-friendly country, we had various facilities here, he said that the respect we received in Pakistan is impossible to describe in words.

The party leader of the Delhi Gurdwara Management Committee, Sardar Harjit Singh, said that our gurdwaras have been restored to their original condition and their beauty . The government of Pakistan has made excellent arrangements for medical transport and hospitality.

Sikh pilgrims expressed their feelings & thanked the government of Pakistan and especially the Chairman Evacuee Trust Property Board.

Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora, President of the Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, and Saifullah Khokhar, Additional Secretary Shrines ETPB bid farewell to the Indian guests and presented gifts.

Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora, President of the Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, said that minorities in Pakistan enjoy complete protection and religious freedom and all facilities including education and employment are equally available.

Additional Secretary of the Trust Board, Saifullah Khokhar, said that the Federal Minister for Religious Affairs, Chaudhry Salik Hussain and the Chairman of the ETP Board, Syed Atta-ur-Rehman, are particularly interested in the hospitality of the pilgrims and interfaith harmony. On their special instructions, we are always ready to welcome the guests coming from the neighboring country, take the best measures for the pilgrims and the performance of all the relevant institutions is commendable

He said that the Abandoned Waqf Property Board is grateful to all security and administrative institutions and media representatives who have supported the hospitality of the Sikh pilgrims.
