Chairman P&D Board, Barrister Nabeel Ahmad Awan, warmly welcomed the ministers and provided a detailed briefing on the various development schemes of the health sector. He emphasized that several ongoing initiatives, as well as foreign-funded projects, are currently progressing well. These projects aim to enhance healthcare facilities and infrastructure across the Punjab.
During the meeting, the ministers reaffirmed the Government of Punjab strong commitment to improving the quality of healthcare services. They highlighted that significant steps have been taken to upgrade health facilities, including the successful renovation and modernization of multiple hospitals, which are now fully operational and providing better services to the public.
The ministers also assured that the government would continue to focus on expanding healthcare access and quality, with an emphasis on both urban and rural areas, to ensure that citizens of Punjab province receive world-class healthcare services.
