Secretary P&D Board, Dr. Asif Tufail, chaired the Pre-PDWP meeting on the revamping of Bansra Gali Zoological Garden in Murree.
The Chair outlined the core objectives of the project, which include establishing the zoo as a center for biodiversity education and research, promoting eco-tourism, creating new job opportunities for locals, and supporting the captive breeding of endangered species.
The Chair directed to enhance the beauty of zoo with new attractions and recreational facilities, while ensuring sustainability and economic benefits.
Secretary P&D Board Dr. Asif Tufail stressed the importance of conducting a feasibility study with the design plan to ensure a solid foundation for the project.
