The Secretary, Madam Silwat Saeed, chaired a meeting with ISP Environmental Solutions Pvt. Ltd. and the CM Punjab Green Credit Program (CMPGCP) team to review the progress of Reverse Vending Machines (RVMs) and explore their scalability across Punjab. While commending the innovation and early milestones, Madam Silwat Saeed emphasized that technology alone is not the solution. The missing link data driven strategy and mass behaviour change must now take centre stage. She directed the immediate development of a robust communication and capacity building strategy to instill importance of plastic recycling and circularity.

Clear, results-oriented targets were assigned to both ISP and CMPGCP to ensure tangible impact, not just visibility.
She stressed that RVMs must evolve from hardware installations into behavioural intelligence tools that guide policies and shape citizen actions. Her leadership is steering Punjab toward a plastic-free future—not with slogans, but with structure, data, and measurable outcomes. The journey has begun, but the real work starts now.
