The 8th meeting of Supervisory Committee of CM Punjab Green Credit Program (#CMPGCP) was held under the chair of Silwat Saeed, Secretary EP&CCD. Key points included program progress, microfinance institutions engagement for green credits, #climate awareness planning, and updates on #ETS in Punjab and voluntary carbon credits & Article 6. 🌱Idea of engaging youth as #Climate_Scouts for climate awareness at community level is an innovative step towards a sustainable Punjab and the Chair emphasized to develop a comprehensive plan on it. Committee was appraised about the progress on First #Punjab_Youth_Climate_Festival and Cyclathon 2025.
