PDWP Approves Four Development Project Worth Over Rs. 15 billion

The 58th meeting of the Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP), chaired by Chairman P&D Board Dr. Naeem Rauf, approved four development scheme amounting to Rs. 15 billion in development sector. Approved schemes include:Construction of New District Jail, Sialkot.

Rehabilitation of Gujrat–Bhimber Road, District Gujrat (Revised)Construction of Tourism Highway from Lower Topa, Murree to Chak Pandori via Kotli Sattian, District Rawalpindi,Rehabilitation / Reconstruction / Widening / Improvement of Nankana Sahib to Syed Wala Road via Bucheki, District Nankana Sahib (Revised)Third Party Monitoring of Vehicle Inspection and Certification System (position paper approved)Establishment of Strategic Management Unit (SMU) at School Education Department, Lahore, (position paper approved)Special Education Communication System Programme, (position paper approved for creation of posts)Tech Interventions for Children with Special Needs (Phase-I), (position paper approved for creation of posts)Up-gradation of Mines Sample Testing Laboratory, Khushab, (position paper approved for creation of posts)Establishment of Rescue & Safety Sub-Station at Bait Tilla Jogian, Jhelum, (position paper approved for creation of posts)Establishment of Mines Rescue & Safety Sub-Station at Nalli/Arara, Khushab, (position paper approved for creation of posts)Drone-Based Surveillance and Mapping for Efficient Mining Management in Mineral-Rich Districts of Punjab Province, (position paper approved for creation of posts)The meeting was attended by the Secretary P&DB Rafaqat Ali, Members P&D Board, and representatives from relevant departments participated in meeting.
