The 62nd meeting of the Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP), chaired by Chairman P&D Board Dr. Naeem Rauf, approved four development scheme amounting to Rs. 56 billion in development sector. The Secretary P&D Board Rafaqat Ali, Members P&D Board, and representatives from relevant departments participated. The Approved schemes are Chief Minister Punjab Value Addition Financing for Pink Salt with an estimated cost of Rs. 1,600 Million

, Establishment of Emergency and OPD Block Teaching Hospital, DG Khan (Revised) with an estimated cost of 6,000 Million , Provision of MRI & CT Scan for Punjab Institute of Mental Health, Lahore with an estimated cost of 1,000 Million and Construction of Rawalpindi Ring from Banth to Thalian with an estimated cost of 47,000 Million . Furthermore, PDWP also approved Position papers of Development of Urban Bus Depots & Allied Infrastructure, Faisalabad, Lahore, Bahawalpur, Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Multan and Extension in gestation period of 57 project posts of 9 development schemes.
