Sector Deep-Dive Sessions were successfully held at the Planning & Development Board, Punjab, in collaboration with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to deliberate on priority sectors and outline a forward-looking investment pipeline for 2027–29. The meeting was co-chaired by Mr. Aslam Javed, Member Agriculture, P&D Board, and Ms. Emma Fan, Country Director, ADB. Mr. Nissanka Salgado, Country Operations Head, ADB, also participated, along with senior officials from key provincial departments and officers of the P&D Board.
The sessions focused on detailed discussions on Agriculture, Food & Natural Resources, as well as Digital and Climate Change sectors. Participants shared insights, identified key development priorities, and explored opportunities for future investments aimed at strengthening sustainable growth, climate resilience, and digital innovation across Punjab.The engagement reflected strong collaboration between the Government of Punjab and ADB to align sectoral planning with long-term development objectives.
