As part of the ongoing official visit to Germany, Dr. Naeem Rauf, Chairman, Planning & Development Board Punjab, accompanied the delegation led by Mr. Zeeshan Rafique, Minister for Local Government & Community Development (LG&CDD), Government of Punjab.During the visit to Heidelberg Municipality, Chairman P&D Dr. Naeem Rauf engaged in discussions with city officials on innovative models of urban governance, citizen-centered municipal service delivery, and sustainable sanitation systems. He appreciated Heidelberg’s commitment to community engagement and environmental sustainability, emphasizing the relevance of such approaches for improving service delivery in Punjab’s urban centers.At the Mannheim Waste-to-Energy Plant, Chairman P&D Board Dr. Naeem Rauf took keen interest in learning about the facility’s solid waste conversion into electricity and heat, its operational efficiency, and environmental safeguards.
