A meeting with the World Bank’s Project Preparation Mission for “Pakistan Finance for Lowering Emissions in Water & Waste Sectors” was held under the chairmanship of Member (LG/UD), P&D Board – Mr. Khawar Kamal. 
The mission, led by Mr. Adeel Abbas (Sr. Climate Change Specialist) included:
Mr. Marcos Castro R. – Senior Climate Change Specialist
Ms. Zarina Azizova – Climate Finance Expert
Ms. Ahad Yousaf Khan – PMI/Carbon Finance Expert
Key project milestones, including the Letter of Intent (LOI), were presented to the Chair.Officials from EP&CCD, P&D Board, and PMRSCC also participated, reaffirming Punjab’s commitment to sustainable water and waste management for a greener future.
