The meeting focused on proposed amendments to the Muslim Family Laws Ordinance, 1961, and The Punjab Local Government (Registration of Births & Deaths) Rules, 2021.

Key agenda items included the translation of Nikah Form II, the declaration of Birth Registration Year 2024, establishment of Model Registration UC offices in every district, and the implementation of Skill Development training programs for Assistant Directors of Local Government, UC Secretaries, and Nikah Registrars.

Furthermore, the meeting addressed the crucial need for providing IT equipment to LG&CD staff and emphasized the importance of archiving old Union Council records for efficient data management
