A delegation of officers from the Punjab Local Government Academy (PLGA), Lalamusa, visited the Punjab Municipal Development Fund Company (PMDFC) office . The delegation comprised Chief Officers and Municipal Officers (Infrastructure, Planning, Regulation, and Finance) from various local governments across Punjab.
The officers were warmly welcomed by Syed Zahid Aziz, MD, PMDFC. Mahmood Masood Tamana, GM ID gave a comprehensive overview of PMDFC, highlighting its mandate, organizational structure, and the key projects being implemented. During the session, video documentaries were screened, showcasing PMDFC’s flagship initiatives such as the Punjab Cities Program, the Capacity Strengthening Program for Local Governments, and the Revitalization of Ponds initiative. The visiting officers also engaged in a productive discussion with PMDFC’s leadership, exploring the progress, challenges, and future direction of these initiatives. Mr. Moeen Ul Din Sheikh, PPP Expert, Syed Aamir Mehmood Shah, PO GIS, and Mr. Abid Ali, PO IT, also attended the meeting. To conclude the visit, souvenirs were exchanged.
