Program Director PICIIP, Mr. Umar Javed, along with Chief Engineer Mr. Tahir Sheikh, visited Sialkot to inspect the under-construction Wastewater Treatment Plant and Disposal Stations under the Punjab Intermediate Cities Improvement Investment Program (PICIIP).
During the field visit, they reviewed the ongoing civil works, construction progress, and adherence to technical standards. A detailed meeting was also held with the contractor ZKB and consultant NESPAK, where discussions focused on project timelines, quality assurance, and addressing site-related challenges to ensure smooth and timely completion.
The Wastewater Treatment Plant is a landmark infrastructure project for Sialkot, aimed at providing modern wastewater management, improving sanitation facilities, protecting the environment, and ensuring a healthier future for the citizens of Sialkot.
