A landmark meeting took place in Islamabad, where Provincial Minister of Education Ghulam Shehzad Agha met with his counterparts from Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK). The meeting aimed to discuss ways to enhance educational opportunities for students from Gilgit-Baltistan.
During the meeting, Minister Shehzad Agha presented recommendations to increase engineering and medical seats for students from Gilgit-Baltistan. The Education Ministers of Punjab and KPK, expressing their commitment to supporting the province’s educational development, pledged to increase seat allocations.
The Ministers agreed to provide technical and financial support to improve the quality of education in Gilgit-Baltistan. Furthermore, the Education Ministers of Punjab and KPK announced plans to visit educational institutions in Gilgit-Baltistan in August, where they will provide technical support to address various challenges faced by these institutions.
Gilgit-Baltistan Education Minister Shehzad Agha highlighted ongoing efforts to secure admissions for Gilgit-Baltistan students in top universities nationwide.
