Second Project steering committee meeting on digitalization of WATSAN Infra was held under chairmanship of Secretary LG&CDD Shakeel Ahmed Mian. Special Secretary LG Asia Gul, Add Sec LG, Dep Sec LG, GMs WSS, GIS & IT UU, Specialist WSS, GIS & SM UU, and representatives from finance & P&D were also present in the meeting.
Project progress update was given by project TL GM WSS Urban Unit with mentioning that GIS based on-ground WSS assets assessment survey has been carried out in more than 100 cities and towns of Punjab. Secretary LG Shakeel Ahmed Mian emphasized the significance of developed Sectorial WSS plans covering evidence based interventions identification in 29 cities/towns for establishing baseline and future development investment to improve service delivery in neglected areas.
