Gilgit : Secretary Home Gilgit-Baltistan, Capt (r) Syed Ali Asghar, visited the Safe City Control Room today to review security arrangements for Muharram. He inspected the routes of processions on the digital wall and evaluated monitoring measures to ensure foolproof security.
Mr. Waqas, In-charge of Safe City Control Room, briefed the Home Secretary on the arrangements, highlighting the round-the-clock vigilance of staff at the Safe City Operation and Monitoring Centre. DIG Gilgit Division, Mirza Hassan, also presented an update on security preparations for Ashoora processions.
Emphasizing the importance of security, Home Secretary Capt (r) Syed Ali Asghar stressed that measures should be taken to ensure foolproof security along the routes of mourning processions.
